It was LN 700 that put the picture up. But at least we all know what you are looking for.

?? Why only the chassis do you already have the rest.

OK Trevor, this chassis was used for the British LLoyd Carrier during WW11 (and V8 flathead & diff) - have parts but rusted chassis. What else can I do to find one ? maybe offer a $500 reward !

Stuart,
That photo is a 39-47 7V Thames. The '37-'39 had a rounded bottom on the grille with vertical bars. The only other major difference was that one had Girling brakes the other Lockeed. But it is probably the one you are looking for. The bad news is that they were never marketed by Ford in Australia but some did come out as tippers for the R.A.A.F. during the war and were sold off afterwards to private buyers, and a few were privately imported after the war.
Now after that bad news ramble, the good news is, find an ET6 Thames ,48-54 (next model). You can post me the $500 and I'll find you a dozen. ( smile ) They are the same chassis and drive line with the brakes changed to hydraulic and different positions of the pedals and steering column.
