I would love to come across to that event Colin, but after the Milang Rally two weeks ago, Quambatook (Vic) harvest & tractor pull last week-end and our own harvest day tomorrow I am under instruction to be home for 'Senior Managements' friends get together next week-end.

Maybe next time.

Cheers Geoff

PS. I met a bloke from Berrigan at Quambatook and he reckons he knows who Mairjimmy is. I'll catch up on Crawlin the Hume and see if he got it right.

Tacho, I wanted to go to Quambatook but to much on and the older you get the longer it takes to do it so I have this one marked on the calender in ink , its closer than the others. If that bloke from Berrigan had a old Austin truck with a kicker on it he will most likely be right

Just a few photos, bit hard to get photos where they were working, to many heads to see through

Just as many heads behind me, a very big crowd

Headlie Taylor's header on transport wheels

Case

Class

Use to have one these A83, this one is a A82 4 cylinder Wisconsin, do not stop when hot, will not start again till it cooled down. It has no steering wheel, just 2 levers, wild bit of gear back then

Couple of trucks

That's all for the night till I down load some more

Some interesting machines there Colin, and the Case all-crop, Claas tractor drawn and small Cockshutt I've not seen before.
I drove a Case 600 in the mid 60's, so that pic brought back some memories. Thanks.

That Claas SP brings back itchy memories Colin, we were in the open, the dust from the drum would pour out of the front of the elevator. It could harvest in the rain and not leave a grain in the heads, however in our normal hot conditions it would split the straw and wheat would be carried out over the walkers. They sorted this out in later models, the Caterpillar Lexion was Claas.
Thanks for the pics, David.
