I can't remember how many 4x4 Transtars they made, but I think it was a few hundred. It was a NAPCO job. My mate will know exactly. There are nione in Oz, as far as I know, but there are a handful of 4x2s imported in the last 20 years.

The Gayndah Museum's machinery collection includes this Bessemer truck.
As far as we know it's the only one of its kind in Australia ... and it is in operating condition.

Back in the late 1960s, a Sydney radio station commissioned the building of a replica 1910s London bus body on a Bessemer truck chassis. It ran here on promo work for a couple of years then moved interstate, but I don't know where.
