    I seem to remember Drake were pretty big suppliers to the military but other blokes who can recognise trailers from a distance might have another suggestion.

    I went for a look and here is a selection of Australian Army heavy vehicles through the ages. Range from 1940 to yesterday.

    Brisbane 1943. An Australian Army International K5 bus carrying Yanks on leave. I think outside the old museum.




    This one was on loan for trials

    This is the current medium fleet contract with ongoing production. 2,246 trucks in the contract. Military vehicles are rated at cross country capacity so figures seem low.
