As part of getting my old Fergy back up to as new running condition I have located an old 2 furrow mouldboard plough that is genuine fergy that i reckon would look good behind the old girl. It was used in an orchard but having a good look at it it's in pretty reasonable condition. Old mate said make me an offer but as i have never even considered to get one before I really don't know how much they are worth. Nice old bloke so happy to pay a fair $$. Can anyone shed any light as to what they are worth please.
Cheers SWR

I would only be paying scrap price. The Ferguson ploughs are pretty well obsolete, and there's plenty around. Upside is, they do look the part behind the Fergy, and they're good to dig up the pumpkin patch.

Have you got any piccys of the Fergy in her new clothes?

Sold ours at the clearing sale for around the 300 mark ... might've been 320 ...
That was 20 years ago but ... ...
If I was lookin I'd probly be happy to pay a coupla hundred I guess.

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

$200-250 would be a fair mark i reckon considering the 2 furrow fergy mouldboards seem to be the most popular fergy mouldboards, compared to 3 furrows which are harder to find, however if this plow has the optional coulters you might need to offer a bit more depending on how negotiable this bloke is
