Bedford SB bus chassis No location WA

Hi guys been ages since last on here,have just bought and driven home a 1959 Bedford SB3 or SB7 (seem to be conflicting ideas) only plate on it says poss BED SB or ED SB but with no numbers(see photo-when i can get it on) and am not sure where stamped no would be on chassis rail.Anyone (Onetrack?)got any ideas,cheers John

John - Try looking in this following location - "The chassis number is stamped on a plate attached to the top of the RH chassis rail member, adjacent to the steering box."

Cheers Ron i will check that spot as soon as i get a chance as it looks like the smaller plate may have gone missing,And Beaver i am on to the bus Australia site but no.one has come up with a location for Ch No yet.
