Hi Guys, yeah, I know it's not a truck but we're after a bit of info regarding the above bus.
The body was done by Symons & Fowler in Melbourne for McHarry's busline in Geelong.
Does anyone have any info on them. Where were they etc.
Hopefully we may be able to get some photo's later in the week of the bus itself.
McHarry's sold the bus in the 1960's sometime & it was last registered in 1971 or so.
Cheers Tim

G'day Trev, at this stage I'll get a look at it on Friday & yep I'll take the camera. It was delivered on a tilt tray today so maybe someone saw it along the way. I don't know where it came from but will find out more on Friday. Cheers Tim

Get on the Australian Transport Discussion Board. There's guys on there that know more about buses than you can ever get around to asking.

Well I went down on Friday & had a look at the Red, White bus. Red & silver to be precise. I was expecting something with a bonnet but this old girl is Forward Control. Flat headed 6 cylinder petrol engine. Sorry guys, no pictures. The new owner did not want any photo's taken just yet. His vehicle, his choice. Licenced to carry 49 pasengers back then. Not sure at this stage of what they are going to do with it. Cheers Tim

I remember form 1 was the first year of Bell Park Tech (1969) and we had an old White bus as a change shed for PE.
From memory I reckon it was blue and cream (Trans Otway maybe ?) but I could be wrong.
PE teacher was one Leo White AKA Kid Young.
