dodge at4 114 tub

hi all I am looking for a ute body / tub for my at4 114 if any knows of one that is for sale please let me know

Don't know if this is any interest to you, but was around at a blokes place today picking up a transmission and he had what looked like a pretty reasonable looking Inter 'styleside' tub. Fair hike for you though, it's up in the Central Vic area (Avoca). Ask around and I think you will find they are interchangeable with some Dodges. Was in a 1310 series 4X4, tree fell on the front of the cab, but most of it looks salvageable. Whether he'd split the tub, or you may have to take the lot. If you wish to look into it, let me know and I'll suss him out.

Hi Dave_64 the information would be great I have some contacts up that way so they could go and look at it for me, they are inter change able the only thing is the inter has a different tailgate regards Andrew

The tubs are actually different, but you need them next to eachother to tell. The mudguards are the same part, as near as I can tell. I expect the tubs would interchange as a complete unit no problems.

Just watch whether it's from a short, or long wheelbase. They are so simple in construction, I expect it wouldn't be hard to cut the longer one down behind the front panel if that's what turns up.

Been busy past week or so, will go round this weekend and try and catch up with him. That's if he's not down Warrnambool fishing! Tough life, somebody has to do it!

Went around to that blokes place with the Inter tub this morning, he said that his son doesn't want it sold.

He didn't say as much, but I think the boy is still a bit miffed with the old bloke selling the transmission out of it. He reckons that he wants to make some sort of tipper out of it. Probably been sitting there for twenty years, most likely still be there in another twenty.
Apologies if I got your hopes up, think if it had to have been up to the father, he would be glad to see the back of it. But, one can only ask!
