A Mack with a monkey instead of a bulldog? Perhaps the pooch refused to get on the Commer cab.

Except it not a Commer cab ..........similar shape in parts ,but some small volume make as fairly common on UK trucks in the 1950s...........all the UK made Macks Ive seen were WW2 surplus with new cabs and diesel engines fitted.

Thanks Swishy-Yep, same truck, different web site.
    From TrucksPlanet,com-
    www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=532
In 1955, 7 trucks of PA8-125 model were built, in 1956 - 3 more. The trucks were equipped with 6-cylinder engines Leyland, 5 speed transmission Albion, and metal cabs Bonallack (the same were used on Commer trucks). Probably, the basis for all-wheel drive models PA8-125 became the Mack NJU or NM.
And while looking for Bonallack Coach Builders came across this-
    www.hcvc.com.au/forum/OldTruck/11477-british-macks?start=0

    Back to proper Macks now!
    Cheers

I seem to recall that this (the modern neat as a pin) is a tribute truck, if that makes any sense

Note the original has the rope for starting the pilot motor

    Something very different for sure

Not my article, credit to Jacob Beatty

Not sure if this has ever been shared here but this is the college I graduated from. This is their Diesel Performance Club’s 59’ B61 that has a E7 eTech in it with dual compound turbos.  The truck has a very cool story behind it, and currently they have it running in the mid 13’s in the 1/4mile.
