Here's a few shots that I just got that seem to be taken at a place called Truckequip in Wollongong........might be wrong.
This next LTL looks like it is in Doherty's colours from the Gong.
I remember this LNT9000 distinctly and I am sure that it was a Truckin Life truck...........
Is this Big Cams??
A couple more
And a white walled Transtar to finish it off......hope you like them
Some play hard to get

Some of those photo's were taken at his workshop on the Hume Hwy at Lansvale. It was run by Paul Bevitt, and he did mostly Louisvilles. He started there in the early 80's and I think that red Louie in the last photo was one of his 1st, that I remember anyway. That 4370 was at the Yennora truckshow that year.

Hi JMack
I can now see that the red one has Truckequip written on top of the sleeper. It makes sense that it was Lansvale as a couple were from Stillwells at Milperra. I think that the first Yennorra show I went to was when I was about eleven, around 1980/81.
Thanks for the info.

Nice pics Bruce,I did my apprenticeship on Louisvilles, all about the same era. There is a photo of the Cook Road Boss in a book, and we did use that for the colour scheme on mine with a couple of minor changes to the stripes. Some of those Louis's have 350's (one chimney),but it's obvious how opoular the old 903's where.

BigCam,
The book you mention featuring "Cookie's Monster" is called The Interstaters which was the follow up book after Where the Big Rigs Fly - both put out by Truckin Life Magazine. Both have some great pics too. Hope that helps...
C/Stunt. Great pics and some classic paintwork too. Thanks
Rob
