SEAT BELT CAMERA DETECTION

This probably one for Vic Roads on here or any one else to respond to
How do / does the situation to camera detecting no wearing of seat belts in vehicles prior to them being fitted or even lap belts only

My take on It is..
If the Vehicle is exempt From Having Seatbelts fitted, There's been No Law Broken, Therefore No Fine will apply..!!

The Photos' are supposed to be reviewed by a Human prior to the issue of an Infringement... So.. It will depend on their level of Training I guess..

My experience in dealing with Victoria Police over speed camera fines is that they have been very reasonable and happy to review the circumstances, so I would anticipate the same would apply for seatbelt detection. NSW Police on the other hand aren't prepared to reason at all, even if you've got hard evidence. they just say take it up with the courts if you don't like it.

The reason I wear a seat belt
is so I wont get booked for not wearing one
