I remember the wire rope suspensions one year at the truck show .........Id think they lasted about as long as fibreglass trailer springs ,that I also saw at the truck show one year.

I'm guessing a lot would depend on wereothe sales yards are located
With farm machinery the makes the dominate areas are generally those that are sold locally
Thinking trucks are gunna be similar
I gotta say thats a lite trailer compared to a McGrath

Norde Suspension from the UK. Hendrickson now owns them. I am sure that in the 80's 90's Kenworth offered that suspension as an option. I am sure Gordon Martin from Singleton had that type of suspension on one of his Kenworth semi tipper trucks. Roughly it looked like a Hendrickson walking beam with 2 rubber blocks (4 in total) set at 90 degrees above the centre of the walking beam.

Commonly called "Rubber Block Suspension" here, it was also popular on concrete agitators.

Similar rubber springs used on the suburban electric trains here ......I think in UK,mainly Fodens had odd rubber suspensions ,and Fodens were owned by Paccar.
