Some old truck pics.
First one is a 1954? Chev, it is owned by a mate, he did the body side of things himself and asked me to get it running and stopping.
Overhauled all brakes, rebuilt wheel cylinders and master cylinder, new brake linings, new rubber hoses and new metal pipes, also got the motor started and running, converted to 12v and wired it up from scratch.
Here are a couple sitting out at Arltunga.
I work for an aboriginal health organisation and get to go bush a fair bit, this one is in South Oz
This one is about 30kls past the airport.
This one I had for a while but have since sold it on.
All the rest are in South Oz.
Hope you all enjoy.

When is the reunion, as I said I am very new to trucks and have never been to the reunion. A few years ago there must have been a big one as they did a parade up the highway, I went out and watched that.
I have been to the RTHOF a few times and take visitors when they come to town.
Diesel is about $1.50 at the moment.

BH, the reunion is 27 28 and 29th of August, by all accounts you locals will notice as there will be some 1000 extra trucks in town??????????? and one scruffy old ACCO amongst em
/me
With those dates then yes I will be in town and can come along to say hello to a few people.
I will be out bush (looking at more old cars including what is reported to be a Charger 6 pack and an old VW Kombi possably a split screen) the second week of August.
Who should I see at RTHOF to see about donating Bedford?
Is it Liz?
I will keep the Beddy till I put my shed up, then if they want it they can have it, as long as it isnt just going to be left out the back.

I then went up the stairway truck and looked down into the back of Dodge bed, yes, that is a frozen wheel in the back, did I mention it was cold this morning?
I had a look at the stairway today, they actually extend out the same length they currently are (double its current height), plus the top flat platform can be extended forward about 2 metres.
