Rare Dodge

Does anyone know much about this model Dodge ?
It is a chev cab however dash is completely different to chev.
Tag on firewall says Dodge.
I took this picture but as its in a friends collection I wont disclose where it is.

That truck is a total "bitzer". Rebuilt, perhaps, after a major prang? .. from 4 different makes of truck?? ..

Yer i reckon bitza as well. Dodge firewall grafted onto the chev cab to give it the dodge tags??? Look how long the cowl is... cab looks about a foot longer than a normal dodge or chev cab. Could be a Bedford cab to hey??

Probably a Chev cab, on a Bedford cab the front wheels protrude into the footwell as the front axle is further back. The doors have the front bottom corners cut out to suit.

There's certainly been some extensive panel construction gone on in the bulkhead/firewall area to match the cab to the Dodge bonnet and guards.
Front axle definitely looks like International, the rear axle with square axle housing, looks like a very late Dodge.

Hi GM. I know that truck personally. it was owned by a carrier by the name of Merv Osbourne and was from Burcher n.s.w. i believe it was sold out of a yard at Bomen (wagga) about 18 months -2 years ago and yep chev grafted to dodge. it had a Buda diesel in it. a lot of history in that truck ! has it left n.s.w ?
