White Freightliner

Hi folks,anyone out there with any info on White Freightliners that are out here.All ex US workers ,probably bought out here in the seventies.Tracked down three ,remember seeing one on ebay awhile back (cat powered)

G,day , i remember two . One lived out back of bringelly NSW , it was a purply maroon colour slimline with a tipper on it .Somewhere around here i got a photo of it just cant remember where it is .
Number two was in express freights yard at enfield nsw about 76-77 it was a bone colour and was a sleeper model from memory , it was parked there for about two weeks as it had been involved in an accident and only had a small dent in the steel fuel tank , i also have some photo's of it as well somewhere .

Hi Scummy, would love to see the pics of them.Be interesting to find out who brought them out & what originally for.PCT told me the top one was from out Wee Waa way .Hopefully someone will remember it.

I love those. The one on eBay was in Port Pirie in South Aus and I'm sure was white with green stripes.

The bottom one in your pics, I'm pretty sure, was sitting in a property on Pitt Town Bottoms Road in Pitt Town in NSW. I used to drive past it daily and could see it from a distance.

I last saw just the cab sitting in someones front yard in Dural NSW a couple of years ago

One of the local farmers around Everton -Brookfield Vic,has one like theses pictured.
Offen see it parked along the Great Alpine Rd.

G'day, The White Freightliner Cunning is referring to in Pt Pirie ended up in WA.

Acar Rob has seen it and I'm pretty sure there was a thread about it some time in the past.

Got the picture of the Freightliner I been seeing. Not as old as I though being a 90's ish model. No connection to White either. Still use a similar cab.
Don't see to many around.
