speaking of headlights reminds me of the time i was coming out of the Diggers Rest servo one dark night, looked behind as i was entering the road, seeing what i thought were some dim headlights way back in the distance......i enter the road and next thing i had a bloody old 50's Landrover all over my bum!....those useless dim headlights mounted so close in was the problem, making the thing look miles away.... apparently there is now a law about how far they have to be apart
I used to have a 6v Beetle and Kombi, same problems with the lights. Out on the open road at night, just had to keep up with the car in front, no way you could actually see the road ahead. :
