That's the one Swishy. A mate of mine designed the bodywork for it; didn't have any plans to start with so he got one of those 1/24 Airfix plastic model kits and scaled it up.

Patriot Truck



The Patriot Motor Company was formed in 1920 as an outgrowth of the A.G. Hebb Body
Company of Lincoln, Nebraska. Patriot was located in nearby Havelock and was organized
to make commercial vehicles in the 1 to 2 1/2 ton range. At the same time they manufactured
truck cabs and bodies marketed as "Patriot Bodies" for at least other 20 other truck manufacturers.

The Rapid Motor Vehicle Company was founded in 1902 in Pontiac, Michigan,
by brothers Max Grabowsky and Morris Grabowsky, who built their first
pickup 1 ton truck prototype in 1900. They went on to build one-ton
trucks and were the beginning of GMC Truck division after they were
acquired by General Motors in 1909. in Detroit, Michigan.
