A little bit more thinking, yes to much time to think I know

So if this trailer has a steerable axle how come when I look at in a picture turning a corner and quite a sharp bend at that the trailer axle or axles aren't twisted at least a little bit ?

I'm not saying it isnt steerable but rather I just dont understand the added information provided by someone else

I also might add that I have asked for more detail from this person and so far I have heard nothing

Paul

because I really am the world's greatest looser and don't have a life

I'll share this fresh to me  information

Still don't understand the landing gear just in front of the rear axle.

I'd say the landing gear is to stop the thing from falling over when tipping. Would be pretty wobbly with the rear wheels not having a solid connection plus how high would you have to go before that load at the front goes through the tail gate. Scary

Nothing ads up, nothing makes sense, phot-shop or AI shit stir maybe, the way it's loaded, the space at the front of the trailer, the load to the front of the trailer, but then there was a lot of pot smoked in the early 70's, Flying high comes to mind.

Looking at the frame under the bin are those two round bits rollers or holes in the chassis made me wonder if it can be closed up like a sliding A trailer only bringing the bin and the back axle in there’s enough room at the front and the mudguards go full length doesn’t explain the landing gear unless it’s because the castor steering needs rebuilding that often it’s just to jack up for repairs
Haven’t got a clue just like Mrs Mack too much time to think

    Another different trailer from Freighter

This one slide axles forward and maybe the tipping body back a bit

Same deal as the other, trying to get maximum load

not my photos, pretty sure I scanned these from the Vintage Commercials magazine
