I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Due to go into my fourth hospital in four weeks on Wednesday. This time for an angiogram on Wed and A pacemaker on Thursday.
My brain just logged me out due to inactivity and I have forgotten the password.

Thanks Lang,
Sometimes I wonder whether it is worth it, they should have just boiled me down and cast a new one!
A mate of mine says that after all the treatments, I will be reconditioned and ready for another hundred thousand miles.
By the way, I replied to your PM. I am still thinking it over.

I have an old T shirt that I love wearing . . .
Born in the forties, original and unrestored, some parts still in working order
. . . and I know how lucky I am to wear it

I don't mind getting old, I just wish it had taken longer.

I am taking it easy, just recovering from having heart pacemaker fitted. Not allowed to lift left arm above shoulder height. That is not as bad as mate who had pacemaker fitted Monday of last week and he is Left-handed. By my reckoning he is 89 years old. His wife is recovering from cancer surgery, so I should not be complaining.
My wife has cancelled our holiday in South Australia (should have been there last Sunday) and is pressuring me to cancel weekend away with Morris Register in the Geelong area that I was planning to catch up with on our way home. That will mean postponing scattering the ashes of her Grandmother in Queenscliff, where Grandma was born, next week.
Anyway, more than enough about me for now, onto my saying for the week:-
Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.
Attributed to John Lennon.
