Ron, are you sure they are 8"? If they are 7" any old H4 halogen round ones will do.
European truck spares AKA Donaldson Motors have stuff for older Volvos and import direct from Germany, but you have to get the parts fellas who weren't in nappies when your truck was built.

Not bad for a engine that was said to be parts only!!.This is great to see you guys got this engine and have kept for the future generation to use and look at . Shame that there are people who chose to sell our heritage to the overseas market. If the people and groups don't stop them ,they will only continue until the supply runs out and all we will have is the comment grandpa had one of them. Don't be fooled if you think its limited to the steam movement its all sorts of equipment and objects that have Historic value.

Mingo , You are spot on re other stuff going out. Protection of Moveable Cultural Heritage Act supposedly keeps it in check but its not working. Old tractors are a particular target that fall under the radar prob because there are heaps about. Not too many Marshall tractors left, mostly "expatriated" & lots of Bulldogs are going.

Hey Swishy - it gets even worse. The big V are into China as well, 45% share in Dongfeng. Makes them the biggest I think. Wots yur reaction going to be when they start making Macks in China???

928 Porsches also had the large 8" Bosch semi sealed H4 headlights, although I have not checked the part number to see if they are the same. Quite a few of these cars are being wrecked due to the high maintenance cost vs low resale value. Maybe try the Porsche wreckers if you still can't find new ones.

I have a mate with a F7 tipper. I have directed him to All Trans Spares. at Yarramundi, near Richmond NSW. The do a fair bit of Euro stuff.

might depend how desperate you get.... Midlands Truck wreckers in Bendigo had a sad F7 twin steer under the trees in the yard before the new owner took over.... worth a phone call..
