All imports are offloaded at port Kembla nowadays as they have closed the Sydney terminal for redevelopment :)

Here are two hirail work trucks, in use for the RRL track-construction project between Melbourne and Sunshine and on to Manor (south-west Werribee). Both are from my prolific contributor Jeff Bounds.

Post edited to take in the helpful reply, and fix a typo. Hirail has become common on railways: it refers to fitting auxiliary wheels to steer a truck on rails; they can be raised to drive back to the depot. This is easier to achieve and cheaper to implement than older techniques, and allows use of off-the-shelf equipment.
