I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Great PACCAR pix thanks Tatra. That Excavator looks like a 40 tonner to me, on two axles? Two rows of 8? EMNTK, and no Im not a mermaid!

I feel that I should be able to identify this, but I can't: I have tried Guy and Foden, but can't get a match. Others will have instant recognition via the distinctive cab. Make / model / year? Would it have been recent and working, or was it historic even then, and on its was to/from an event?

920607Su Flinders St near King St (Melbourne, Vic.): PTC's new International tram-rescue vehicle (coded R10), at work rescuing tram A1.244. (Jeff Bounds).
There have been various R10s through the years. IIRC this one replaced the long-standing AEC Matador (which has been written up in other threads). Now there is a newer and larger one, capable of rescuing the newer and larger trams. I am not sure if the older was pensioned off, or if it was kept as a supplementary vehicle.
