Don't mean to burst ya bubble but this is a massive insurance claim - imagine what the drivers said to the boss after he saw the trucks!

dont worry - this happens a lot more than people realise. at least the cab side did not make contact , its bad when that happens.
it is very hard to judge the passing distance when it is 6 meters away when there is no clearence lights and it is about 5.30 AM and you are thinking this shift is all over

I used to use the corner of the windscreen as my guide - if an object on the road like a rock etc passed through that line I knew I would miss it by at least a metre on the offside.
