I have arranged a get together with him after Christmas to get a photo history and current pics that I'll share on here.
Melonreo, nice score, what a weapon. There was a couple of 4070's in Sydney in a property for some time. I went past today and unfortunately they have gone
Some play hard to get

Outstanding ! some good news at the end of an ordinary day for me , glad to see it will be back .The DCO tow truck in Sydney is alive and well. It was originally owned by an Interstater from new and Retriever towing bought it and used it as a wrecker for years. I heard last month that the original owner had been talking to them asking if he could buy it back to restore it once they had retired it. Info I got is that they GAVE it to the original owner a few months back and he is in the process of rebuilding it

Does anyone remember the 4070 that John Dawson Removals was running?? Is it still around? I think it was early or mid 80's when I first saw I in Melb.
From memory it was a twin steer slim cab and with a (separate?) sleeper built into the pan; and on alloys to boot. Interesting concept i thought..
Cheers
Rob
