Jamie, sorry to hear of your affliction, LOL.
The first one with steptoe on the bumper, don't the k1w1's might have been a bit funny about registering it with out front brakes, I know it is a Seppo thing that they reckon it's better when it's slippery, though the You-ropyens go the other way, and having driven a few trucks with averedge front brakes I'm tending to side with the You-ropyens.

Nuther 1 4 KW gurues. True or false? Back in dim dark ages, owners of KW was havin a fizzy with owners of Peterbuilt and discussin the new world. ie OZ and suth affricka. CN as that they already had enough comp with each other in seppo land they tossed a coin/sizzor paper rocked or sompthin to c who would go to wat country.

Well bugger me orical swishmeister , great king to all screamer disciples the world over - tiz such a simple answer ol' matey .
THE OL' KENWORTH QUESTION CONFUSING TRUCK WORSHIPERS THE WORLD OVER .
The answer lies in the specifics - EACH MODEL IDENTIFICATION RELATES TO A DIFFERENT SPECIES AS EVERY ONE AGREES .

THE FACT THAT THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF KWs IN THE DEPTHS OF OUR COMPLEX WORLD NO ONE COULD POSSIBLY KEEP UP EXCEPT TO SAY THAT KENWORTLESS ARE BEST DESCRIBED AS
-CRAYFISH - ALL SHELL - NO GUTS ! You have T for tail length , C for claw size or chuck back , W for well under size , K WOPPER for well too big for the barby , and the list could very well go on and on ............. I rest my case AS A DEVOTED WHITE FOLLOWER WHERE NO SUCH CONFUSION HAS EVER ARRISEN ? :o

My little story must B urban myth after all
maby rural myth ::)
Is there a public record of the original owners/chasie nos of the trucks made at bayswater. I would b curios to no the history of my ol jigger.
An ol timer who helped me rebush the torsion bar recond it might have been a fuel haul truck for golden fleace. He was goin off the original paint (yellow chasie blue cab) and the specs
