You can buy a low profile ballrace and make the top and bottom plates. I just fitted a new setup a few weeks ago. I was going to buy all the bits seperate and make my own bit i couldn't be bothered any more. And it is exactly the same height as the old turntable. The only problem was it wern't cheap
