My new wooden boat

Beautiful job indeed.
A few on here would suggest 'add hungry boards' and go fishing!! She'd go well with our 4 metre swells........ I could see it launching!!
Each year there's a really big wooden boat show in Hobart..... pity you can't get there with it?

Is there a gas station half way between mainland and Hobart???

Yep She is a 350 Chev V8. MEFI5 is the latest (version 5) EFI control computer from Delphi. Said to be 10-20% more fuel efficient the carb version. She sounds real nice. Check these out:

I do not believe it. I went to uni with Allan! We were best mates. We built cars and bikes together. I see him only rarely now and I vaguely remember him asking me something about a chev in a boat his mate was building a couple of years ago. maybe it was this. Please tell him Jed says hello....

Thanks all. It was very stressful, 6 knots in Mooloolaba is a bit restrictive, new boat, cameraman perched on the foredeck with nothing to hold onto, trying not to dump him in the drink, talk to the reporter and watch for other traffic. Yep Cunning - seat cover was very well made .
Dunno where all that "dream boat" stuff came from, she made that lot up. My dream boat is a luxury had made 44 footer with twin diesels.
