I wasn't fussed by your comment Morris, I am a procrastinator at the best of times, any excuse is used when avoiding things remotely like gardening!

Personally I'm not keen on apricots either Paul, but some of the locals take loads and we always have apricot jam on hand when we want some.

The trees are old, there is a root lifting the cement floor in the room at the front of the garage, and for at least a year it has been on my "to-do" list (for Ron).

Why cut them down? When not dropping leaves, or fruit, they add a bit of colour round the back and the fruit is copius to the point of extreme.

Meanwhile back to the truck . . .

One laat word on the horrible apricot

The Princess takes great delight in telling me that hot cross buns are glazed with apricot jam

And I love hot cross buns

Yes I am a idiot and wear the badge proudly

1001 jobs and counting still, despite finding others as I go . . .

Gradually they are getting whittled down though and B for's first run (after a local check) will hopefully be the S.A. Club Run to Clare???

Amongst a couple of other jobs, my big job for today was adding some text on the side of the truck.

First step was organising the size of the letters and spacing, next was printing it out, then cutting the paper letters out so I could transfer the shapes onto self adhesive film (fancy description for contact!?), after which that was also cut so it could be stuck onto the truck . . .

Note that it is still in the main shed;  I'm aiming to attempt getting it round the corners next week, which will leave me with four weeks before Clare.
