Maybe slightly off topic but who knows what about freuhauf low loaders??
I've got one and would like to know about its suspension. Mines an 84 with bogie axles on single point suspension. It's also only got 15" wheels.

You can still buy Hutch new off Colrain. In fact they are about the only single point suspension available.

They are a bit stiff on the freight..
From memory they do an Airbag single point arrangement also..

Well that's exactly the same as what's under mine. What are the bushes in the pivot? Are they just rubber belt clamped by the ubolts around the axle?
I think mine are fairly worn cause when you turn tight the axle steps out beyond the body. It would b a good inch or so.

G'day
Well pleased to say that you can buy all new bushes and rubbers for hutch suspension. I've just replaced all mine in my float, and put whole new axles under it! Got the parts from maxi parts in Albury.
