There are plenty of pics on the net of AL160 .............as for spares, some later spares do fit the earlier trucks ,otherwise you will have to chase parts ,or fix what you have.

I had an AR162 (the model after yours) and the mechanical parts were identical. We had to replace a couple of spring hangers and they were still being made for late model ACCOs of the same size. The gearboxes and axles were brought in and also used in Ford, Dodge and other brands. Ford, Dodge and International 5 stud wheels are all the same pattern on the 1950's trucks as I was given 2 ford rims as spares and I gave one to a friend with a 1950's Dodge as he didn't have a spare.
One thing to check is the engine number . If it's original it should start ASD240. Later international 6 cylinder motors will bolt straight in (using the bellhousing of the late motor) and it was a regular "farm fix"

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

It's a bit hard to tell, but it sort of looks as if the bonnet has had hinges fitted at the rear, so that it opens at the front only?
These bonnets are meant to be able to be opened from either side (turn handle and lift, then a rod strut on the inner guard props the bonnet open), OR the option to lift the bonnet off completely, which you might find beneficial while you are working on it.

    Brett.
